The Loyalists were people who didn't get along with the Patriot, they saw them as vermin. Loyalists we in favor of law and order most of all they feared disorder. John Adams was a faithful Patriot and Jonathan Sewed a Loyalist, they once had an encountered with each other and Jonathan told John not to mess with England as John replies that he will always be with America no matter what. About 1/5 of the colonists were Loyalists and many more were neutral, as this caused many troubles like in the separation of families etc. They both had stereotypes of each other, this causing the rivalry.

It also contained lots of grievances and it had an idea that caused problems and it was the statement that said that we all were equal, this caused problems because they had slaves. At last in the Declaration of Independence it was written about the "Unalienable Rights" that meant that they had all to protect those rights to keep maintain the peace.

Thomas Paine's Proposal
Through the events that the Americans had with England, along came the independance. How all those problems lead to the union and independance of America.
Thomas Paine was an immigrant from England that had many ideas that he wrote in a book that later became popular. The book was named "Common Sense", people understood the ideas that this man was trying to express through a forceful but understandable language. Thomas proposed to the colonies three things and they were;
1. The declaration of independence from England.
2. To create a republic with a democrat government.
3. Union of the states.
This book later made it's part in the declaration of independence from England.

Taxation Without Representation
This means that americans were against of the British to tax their colonies without them agreeing or commenting. British thought that they had the right to tax all the american British colonies. The British made all type of taxes, like the Stamp Act, so colonoist fought against that law and some others. They wanted to be represented by someone of their colonists in front of the parliament. The colonist were tired of so much taxes they had to pay, and they had no money left. Britain needed money for the war and they taxed colonists because it was the easiest way to have more money.
The Stamp Act
The Stamp Act was a tax enforced by the parliament in 1765 of Great Britain of the colonies of Britain America. The act was based that any printed material had to use a stamp. This materials include papers as newspaper, documents, magazines and any printed paper. The new stamp tax system was paid using valid British currency. The British strongly believed that the colonist were benefitted from war, so they should play their part by paying a portion of the expenses. This Stamp Act was the reason of the seven 7 war, the colonists were not happy with this new tax system, because they had to pay more for everything they bought.

The British thinking that after the war they had the right to put taxes on the colonists because they were protecting their land from being steeled, they imposed taxes on the. It led to protestants and this created trouble with everyone. As seen before the Boston Tea Party was because of taxes, after this they closed the Boston Harbor to all shipping until the tea that was destroyed got paid for. Many got affected by it, starting with the dockworkers and the sailors that lost their job because of this. These was called the Boston Port Act and this acts was followed by many others that were imposed and caused trouble for the colonists.

All this acts mentioned below were the acts that took the colonists to make drastic decisions and do things that could damage property or even damage a persons physically. The Boston Massacre
Violence overcomes Boston on March 5, 1770, while a group of colonists were in a bar having a couple of drinks they saw some of the man that belonged to the British troops. In this time the colonists were unemployed due to the British taking their jobs, because the colonists wanted to receive more payment and the British accepted the offers while the colonists didn't. The British had to send money to their families and stay with a little of it to for their daily basis needs.
The colonists were mad at them because they stole the jobs they wanted or needed. As the colonists were feeling angry and resentment towards them, they went to the Customs House where the British were, the colonists started shouting and throwing snow balls at them, the British reaction towards this was to stand outside with their guns, one of them ordered not to shoot because they were giving them time to surrender. The colonists never stopped and it got to the point that one of the British made a gun shoot, this caused the others to do so and ended up killing five of the colonists.
The British troops were demanded for murdering, they were defended by the lawyer and future american president John Adams who ended up saving six of them while two had their sentence reduced.
