The Stamp Act

The Stamp Act was a tax enforced by the  parliament in 1765 of Great Britain of the colonies of Britain America. The act was based that any printed material had to use a stamp. This materials include papers as newspaper, documents, magazines and any printed paper. The new stamp tax system was paid using valid British currency. The British strongly believed that the colonist were benefitted from war, so they should play their part by paying a portion of the expenses. This Stamp Act was the reason of the seven 7 war, the colonists were not happy with this new tax system, because they had to pay more for everything they bought.
