The Coersive Acts

Back in the time when United States of America where still not independent, they were being dominated by the British. The British thinking that after the war they had the right to put taxes on the colonists because they were protecting their land from being steeled, they imposed taxes on the. It led to protestants and this created trouble with everyone. As seen before the Boston Tea Party was because of taxes, after this they closed the Boston Harbor to all shipping until the tea that was destroyed got paid for. Many got affected by it, starting with the dockworkers and the sailors that lost their job because of this. These was called the Boston Port Act and this acts was followed by many others that were imposed and caused trouble for the colonists.
Some of the coersive acts were
-The Administration of Justice Act of 1774
-Massachusetts Goverment Act of 1774
-Quartering Act of 1774
-Quebec Act

All this acts mentioned below were the acts that took the colonists to make drastic decisions and do things that could damage property or even damage a persons physically. But all this acts led the colonists to take action and this brings us to the colonial unity forming the First Colonial Congress. War eventually led to the creation of an independent U.S.A.
